Welcome to the Red Feather Society of Marion County
The Red Feather Society of Marion County was started when a group of citizens got together to raise money for United Way. They felt they needed a name and learned that Red Feather was the original name for many United Way agencies. In the spirit of bringing back a piece of history and in high hopes of continuing good works that benefit our community we decided on the name Red Feather.
We have lots of ideas and plans to help educate our community about what United Way does for us and to raise money to continue to help support our many agencies that help people in need.
We urge you to learn more about United Way and consider joining in the fun!
The Junior Red Feathers of Marion County as part of the United Way's League of Extraordingary Teens have signed up more kids for The Imagination Library and are raising money to support this program!!
On May 15, 2010 the Red Feather's will be holding their 2nd annual fundraiser. The event will be held at the Fit Stop in Jasper, Tennessee beginning at 2 pm. Plans are underway for a day of fun to benefit the families in need in our county. All funds raised on this day will stay in Marion County for the people of Marion County. Events will be announced in the near future, so mark your calendar to come out and have a good time for a good cause.
